Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro Get Certified by FCC, NBTC, and SIRIM; The Duo to Debut Soon

Xiaomi has two new flagship offerings ready for deployment. The brand was recently spotted seeking certification for two new smartphones, and they call the newcomers Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro. The duo is said to launch in the next month.

Mi 12T and Mi 12T Pro are supposedly standing out as flagship killers. Recent sightings on multiple certification platforms and many well-grounded leaks have revealed some promising facts about the phone. Here’s a brief outline.

Mi 12T and 12T Pro initially appeared on FCC (Federal Communications Commission) database. After that, the NBTC-Thailand authority cleared the phone certificates. The duo passed its safety regulation from the SIRIM (Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) just a while ago. The obvious conclusion; the device is going to land soon in USA, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Per the documents, the model code (22071212AG) belongs to Mi 12T, and the Pro 12T goes by code (22081212UG). The base Mi 12T will flaunt a 108MP imaging lens, FHD+ resolution screen, and MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC tied to 8GB memory capacity and 256GB of storage space.

It’s too early to speculate on the Xiaomi smartphone price, However, the Pro 12T being the high-end variant, will feature some top-of-the-line hardware. The phone allegedly rocks a Snapdragon 8+ Gen One chip inside. A flagship level 12GB RAM, 256GB of storage, and Android 12 x MIUI 13 support right out of the box. There will be Xiaomi’s 120W ultra-fast charging support to top off that 5000mAh battery.

Mi 12T Pro has an OLED screen sized at a 6.67-inch view. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a screen-hidden fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the brand used the 200MP primary sensor on Mi 12T Pro, rounding it off to an actual 2022 beast flagship phone. Per Xiaomi’s usual launch cycle, these handsets should also make it to Pakistan. So stay tuned for more updates on that.
