Vivo Y22s Official-Looking Mockups Leaked Revealing Camera Setup & Design

Vivo’s Entry level price segment Y-series is about to expand with the addition of the Vivo Y22 and Y22s mobile. The latest Leaks from Paras Guglani via Pricebaba have revealed two design mockups of the upcoming Y22s handheld.

These images expose the front and rear look of the Vivo Y22s. Right along the renders is a mention of some core features of the phone. Let’s dive in to see what this phone has to offer.

Renders present a vivid display unit upfront with Vivo’s signature V-notch. The display packs a solid 6.55-inch view with 720p resolution and IPS capacitive LCD. The bezels on Y22s are relatively uniform except for the chin at the bottom.

When we flip the latest Vivo Y mobile over, the eyes first lock on the camera island. It’s essentially a glossy black accent protruding from the back, and two lenses live inside it. The lens configuration pairs a 50-megapixel sensor (primary) with a 2-megapixel unit (secondary). An 8MP selfie shooter hides inside the V-notch on the front.

Per the tipster, Vivo Y22s rocks the same processor as Vivo Y35 — the pricey sibling in the lineup. The processor labeled Snapdragon 680 lives at the heart of Vivo Y22s. A data space of 128 GB is entirely justifiable at this price. To improve the multitasking experience, Y22s come prebuilt with 8GB of memory.

Vivo’s latest price list addition, Y22s, features a lightweight Funtouch OS 12 skin based on Android 12. The device boots using a 5000 mAh cell with support for an 18W charger brick. The word is not official, and renders are not telling enough to know the crucial to security – fingerprint scanner position. The launch for Vivo Y22s should follow right after the Y25 lineup release on August 17th. More news on that later.
