MediaTek has introduced two new chipsets today: the Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7300X. Built on a 4 nm process, these new chipsets succeed the Dimensity 7050 and are virtually identical, with one key difference: the 7300X supports dual displays.
Both chips feature 4×2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 and 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs and offer a 25% reduction in power consumption compared to their 6 nm predecessors.

The Dimensity 7300 and 7300X support LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage and come with a new Imagiq 950 12-bit HDR ISP that enables dual simultaneous video capture. Display support includes WFHD+ at 120 Hz and Full HD+ at 144 Hz, with the 7300X also supporting these on a second screen, ideal for foldable phones with cover panels.
MediaTek did not specify which phones will feature the new chips or their release dates. However, it is anticipated that the Dimensity 7300X will debut in the Motorola Razr 50, which has already been certified and is expected to launch soon.
