Redmi K70 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse comes with 24 GB RAM, 1 TB storage

The Redmi event today saw the announcement of K70e, K70, and K70 Pro smartphones. The most premium among those also got a special edition in collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse.

To celebrate 10 years in the smartphone world, Redmi partnered with the racing division of Lamborghini to create the Redmi K70 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse Edition. Just rolls right off the tongue, doesn’t it?.

The difference between this fancy variant and the regular K70 Pro comes down to three things, and the design is definitely the more obvious one. The camera island is not a rectangle but an inverted convex pentagon. The shape references Lamborghini’s sharp lines, but the rest of the panel is still plastic. The two-tone Green or Yellow colors and the carbon design are purely a sticker underneath the protective panel.

On the software side, this limited edition will have a custom Lamborghini Squadra Corse theme, part of the HyperOS interface. The car in the background of promo images is the Essenza SCV12 – a track-only hypercar with a V12 engine – and we assume that’s also present in the theme.

You should know this isn’t your typical Lamborghini design, like one particular Oppo Find X smartphone from over five years ago.

This custom-designed Redmi K70 Pro is the same on the inside as the regular one – Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage and 120W charging for the 5,000 mAh battery.

The final difference is the device will be offered only with 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. Price is yet to be announced and we assume this variant will never make it out of China.
