Tecno launched the Spark 10 Pro in March with two color options – Starry Black and Pearl White. These are now joined by a new version, dubbed Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition.

The Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition is a special edition smartphone launched by Tecno to honor India’s Chandrayaan-3 Moon mission, which made it the first country to successfully soft land on Moon’s lunar south pole region and the fourth nation to land on Moon’s surface.

Tecno says the Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition’s design draws inspiration from the Chandrayaan-3 mission while “prioritizing eco-friendliness with its unique Black & White Leather Design crafted from environmentally friendly eco-silicone leather.”

The Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition’s one-piece eco-leather back panel has a dual-shade design, with the camera module taking inspiration from the Moon’s surface and the cameras having text around them.

The differences between the regular model and the Moon Explorer Edition are only cosmetic since both have the same specs. You get Helio G88 SoC, Android 13-based HiOS 12.6, 6.78″ 90Hz FullHD+ LCD, and 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging. The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and three cameras – 50MP primary, 0.8MP depth, and 32MP selfie.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition comes in a single 8GB/128GB configuration. It’s priced at INR11,999 ($145/€135), which is surprisingly less than the regular model with the same amount of RAM and storage, costing INR12,499 ($150/€140).
