Realme confirmed the GT Neo5 will be the first smartphone to feature 240W fast charging, and now we know it will be announced on February 9. The brand revealed the launch will take place in China at 2PM local time.
Official information on the phone is scarce, but we do have plenty of rumors from trustworthy leaksters. The GT Neo5 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, although we might see a version with Dimensity 8200 that supports “just” 150W fast charging.
Other reports mentioned a 50MP main camera with an IMX890 sensor and OIS, something we’ve seen in the fellow Oppo brand and its Find N2 and Reno9 Pro+ smartphones. The screen is likely to be 6.7” AMOLED with 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels.
