Realme 9i 5G Renders Leaked Revealing Two Colors, Camera Layout, and Design

Realme Twitter recently posted a marketing banner teasing their “5G rockstar” Realme 9i 5G. The tweet officially publicized the phone’s processor and design language. Realme 9i 5G is all set to launch on August 18th formally. The device will launch in India first and continue its way down the global market. The launch is closing in fast. So naturally, more design and marketing images are getting leaked.

The 4G version of Realme 9i is already up for grabs in the Pakistani market. Since there is no 5G in Pakistan, the launch of 9i’s 5G variant here is still in question. Moving on, the notorious leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has posted two new design renders on his Twitter handle featuring Realme 9i 5G’s color options and front look. Let’s discuss.

Thanks to the newly leaked design render, we now have a clear image of the phone’s looks. First off, we have two color options. Black and Gold. The phone has flat edges and rounded corners wrapped around the body. There’s a Realme tag prominently etched on the bottom left corner.

Moreover, three cameras on the back extrude out directly from the shell. No camera plate or bump to be seen here. It has a uni-color minimalistic design but with a surprise twist — rays of light on the back originate from the bottom camera lens and extend to the edges of the body to mimic a metallic body look. They are calling it Laser Light Design.

No word on the realme smartphones price yet. Moving to the front, we have a dew-drop notch on the panel, which hides a selfie camera. The bezels have a slim uniform finish except for the chin, which seems thicker. On the right flat edge, you can see a power button doubling down as a fingerprint scanner.

The company has officially claimed to use MediaTek’s 5G chipset, Dimensity 810 (6nm), in Realme 9i 5G. Per the official sources, the chipset performs 20% faster than dimensity 700 and benchmarks with over 350,000 AnTuTu scores. We will cover an in-depth specs review of the phone once it’s out. So stay tuned.
